Go-live checklist

Ten checks before your first live payout.

Keys#

  1. Swap sk_test_ for sk_live_. Confirm livemode: true on responses.
  2. Keys live server-side, in a secret manager.

Requests#

  1. Every POST sends an Idempotency-Key, reused across retries. →
  2. Money is sent and parsed as decimal strings. No floats anywhere. →
  3. Errors branch on code, not message. →

Funding#

  1. Funds go to the exact deposit_address, asset and chain on the transfer.
  2. Your UI never promises a firm INR amount before funds arrive. →

Webhooks#

  1. Signatures verified against the raw body; stale timestamps rejected. →
  2. Handlers dedupe on Webhook-Id and return 2xx fast.
  3. Every exception status is handled — payout_failed, payout_returned, compliance_input_required and the rest. →
